Set the game build and DLCs on your FiveM server

Choose which GTA V update your FiveM server loads with sv_enforceGameBuild, so cars, clothing and maps from new DLCs work.

GTA V gets a big update with new cars, clothing and areas about twice a year. In FiveM, such a version is called a game build. As the owner, you choose which build your server uses. Players don't need to install anything themselves: FiveM loads the right DLCs when they join.

When do you need a higher build?

  • A script, car or clothing pack asks for a minimum build, for example 2944 or higher. This is usually in its description.
  • Cars, clothing or maps from a newer DLC are missing in the game.
  • The console or the FiveM F8 window shows an error that starts with Execution of native and names a function, such as SetDriftTyresEnabled. That function isn't in your build yet.

Setting the build

You choose the build with one line in your server.cfg, with the number or the alias of the build:

  1. Open your server in the game panel and go to server.cfg editor.
  2. Click Manual Edit.
  3. Is there already a line with sv_enforceGameBuild? Then only change the number. If not, add the line above the ensure lines.
  4. Click Save and restart your server.

The server only reads this line when it starts, so a different build only works after a restart. Did you set up your server with a txAdmin recipe? Then it often has a line like this already.

Careful: your server.cfg also contains your license key. Don't take a screenshot of it and never share its contents.

The newest builds

Every build includes everything from the builds before it. So with 3570 you also get the cars and clothing from 3407 and older. These are the newest builds (November 2026), with their alias:

  • 3889 (mp2026_01): The Kortz Center Heist
  • 3751 (mp2025_02): A Safehouse in the Hills
  • 3570 (mp2025_01): Money Fronts
  • 3407 (mp2024_02): Agents of Sabotage
  • 3258 (mp2024_01): Bottom Dollar Bounties
  • 3095 (mp2023_02): The Chop Shop
  • 2944 (mp2023_01): San Andreas Mercenaries

Which build should you choose?

Choose the build your resources ask for, and take the highest one if they differ. Does a script ask for 2944 and a car pack for 3095? Then choose 3095: it includes everything from 2944 too.

A new build doesn't work? A new build needs a recent version of FXServer, so update your artifacts first.

Does your server run FiveM for GTA V Enhanced? There, only the newest build works. Your server loads it by itself if you don't set a build.
